Two Years

a) Entry level qualification for 1st year :

12th Science or Graduate from any streams (except Fine Arts, Music, Classical, Dance Languages) or Diploma in Nursing or Diploma holders in Engineering or Two year Technical Course after 10th Std subject to the condition that English has been one of the subjects in the study of the above course.

b) Direct Admission for 2nd year:

• Subject to the compliance of I (a) above candidates must have additionally completed one of the following course:
  Sanitary Inspector Diploma course from AIILSG or
  MPHW (Multi Purpose Health Worker) Programme of any respective state government or
  Medical Graduate (any stream)

i) Course is developed and designed to cover the emerging needs and challenges in the public health system in the country.
ii) To meet the demand for trained human resource in Public Health, in view of emerging global public health challenges.
iii) To create cadre of public health professionals with managerial skills required to implement National Rural Health Mission.
iv) To upgrade professional technical skills of Sanitary Inspectors in the state in view of recent advances in Public Health policies and programmes.
