|Eligibility||Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University and holding a Supervisory post in Local Body for not less than two years.
Municipal official with Local Self-Government Diploma (LSGD) conferred by AIILSG and holding a Supervisory post in Local Body for not less than two years
Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University and directly recruited as Chief Officer by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission
Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University and holding LSGD conferred by AIILSG.
S.S.C subject to the condition that such employees must produce a certificate along with recommendation from the concerned Head of the Department of the Municipal Corporation or from the concerned Chief Officer of the Municipal Council or Nagar Panchayat, certifying that immediate passing of LGS is a condition precedent for being:Considered eligible for promotion – in case of employee directly recruited. OR
Held eligible for continuance in service – in case of employee directly recruited.
|Objective||To develop amongst Municipal Executives a comprehensive understanding about Municipal Administration and to train them in various techniques of Municipal Management and Administration through intensive lectures, practical training, seminars and group discussions.The contents would include: Principles of Public Administration, Urban Local Government, Municipal Administration, Local Finance, and Administration of some important Municipal Departments.|
