• Workshop on 'Forest Rights Act 2006', Bhopal

Dharmarao IAS, Secreatary, Tribal Welfare, Government of M.P.A team of offìcers of Gujarat State had come on a 3 - day visit to Bhopal (from 29th August to 1st September 2008) for getting an insight into how Madhya Pradesh was going about the implementation of the Forest Rights Act 2006. As the Bhopal Center was intensively involved in conducting training courses for the officials of M.P. On this Act, the Government of M.P., asked the centre to organize a one day - workshop on 30th August 2008 for the offìcers of Gujarat State.

    The valedictory session of workshop was graced by the Hon'ble Minister for Forest and Tribal Welfare, Government of M.P., Shri Vijay Shah besides the Principal Secretary and the Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department and Commissioner, Tribal Welfare, Govt. of M.P, At the end of the session, the Hon'ble Minister presented mementos to the offìcers from Gujarat.
