PREPARATION OF MODEL RULES – SCHEME – PLANS – BYE- LAWS AS ENVISAGED UNDER THE STREET VENDING (PROTECTION OF LIVELIHOOD & REGULATION OF STREET VENDING) ACT, 2014

 

All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG) have been assigned with the task of Preparation of Model Rules – Scheme – Plans – Bye-Laws as envisaged under the Street Vending (Protection of Livelihood & Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 by Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA), Government of India, New Delhi.

Under the aforesaid project a presentation cum meeting was organized in New Delhi on 9th February 2016. It was chaired by Joint Secretary Mr. B. K. Agarwal and was attended by his Director Mr. Avanish Kumar Mishra, State representatives of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Representatives of Town and Country Planning Organization (TCPO) and other officials of MoHUPA. Mr. P.K.Ghosh, Mr. Utpal Padia, Mr. Ajay Agrawal and Mr. Akshay Anand represented AIILSG. The drafts of Street Vending Plan and Bye-laws were presented by us for the feedback of States. The draft was appreciated by all States.
