All India Institute of Local Government (AIILSG), a premier training institution in the realm of municipal governance has decided to set up a Centre of Sustainable Governance (Centre), with a view to training inputs to government functionaries including those working for Urban & Rural Local Governments, and policy advocacy for good and sustainable governance. The centre has been set up at the Fort office of the AIILSG. The Centre will develop training modules, identify experts and resource persons and conduct training at Mumbai and other centres of the AIILSG.


 The new established Centre is now looking for a fresh Researcher and following is the job description
Job Description :
  • Programme development
  • Implementation
  • project handling and management
  • monitoring and field work for state and local governments in Maharashtra.


Requirements :
  1. Good know-how of working with State and Local Governments in urban services
  2. Conduct field visits to ULBs for assessment
  3. Assist cities in formulating and implementing ULB level action plans
  4. Suggest technical solutions/ strategies to address challenges at ULB level
  5. Monitor progress in achieving the envisaged targets
  6. Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis and report writing skills
  7. Command over speaking, writing, reading in English and Marathi
  8. Undertake any other work required to achieve the desired output



Salary offered is in the range of Rs.25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- per month.
