Ahmedabad centre was established in the year 1965. Initially this centre was located at Lal Darwaja. In year 1967, The office was shifted at Khanpur and the institute building was constructed which is known as Barfiwala Bhavan. Institute is Constructing New building at the same location. The foundation stone was laid by Shri Nitinbhai Patel Hon. Minister for Urban Development, Govt. of Gujarat. The new building would have Modern state of Art Training & Research facilities with a hostel to accommodate 40 people.
