Established in the Year 1981

The AIILSG Bhubaneshwar Regional Centre is four decades old. Its genesis in Orissa lies in the need to provide specialized training to the ULB as well as government functionaries on various issues related with poverty alleviation and urban development. Over the years, the Bhubaneshwar Regional centre has organized various training programs for Chair-persons & Vice-chairpersons, Multi-purpose Women Health Workers and induction training for Medical Officers under NRHM. Further, the Centre also implemented the Orissa Tax Reforms Project, as one of the mandatory reforms under JnNURM, in 4 ULB’s of Orissa, namely Puri, Cuttack, Sambalpur and Berhampur. In addition, the centre has also initiated courses in Development of Soft Skills for the people of Orissa.

Infrastructure: AC conference hall with AV facility, accommodate more than 50 participants.

Our Activities:

AIILSG Bhubaneswar has conducted various training programmes and projects i.e., Capacity Building Training Programmes, RAY, Property Tax, Revenue Enhancement study, SIT under JICA, Preparation of GIS based Comprehensive Development Plan, NABARD: WATERSHED project, Social Impact Assessment Study project of NABAKRUSHNA CHOUDHURY CENTRE FOR DEVELOPMENT STUDY(NCDS), DPR Preparation of various ULBs, Plantation programme under ICRISAT(OLM), Providing manpower service to various ULBs. AIILSG is also empanelled by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to conduct Total Station Survey. In addition, the centre is also running Sanitary Inspector Diploma Course.
