ELIGIBILITY 1. Graduation in any stream from a recognized university and holding a supervisory post in local body for not less than two years OR
2. Municipal Official with Local Self Government Diploma (LSGD) conferred by AIILSG and holding a supervisory position in local body for not less than 2 years OR
3. Graduation in any stream from a recognized university and directly recruited as Chief Officer by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission OR
4. Graduation in any stream from a recognized university and holding Local Self Government Diploma (LSGD) conferred by AIILSG OR
5. SSC subject to the condition that such employees must produce a certificate along with recommendation from the concerned Head of the Department of the Municipal Corporation (Mahanagar Palika) or from the concerned Chief Officer of the Municipal Council or Nagar Panchayat, certifying that the immediate passing of LGS is a condition precedent for being: a) considered eligible for promotion, in case of employee in service. OR b) Held eligible for continuation in service - in case of employees directly recruited.
OBJECTIVE The objective of this course is to acquaint the Municipal Officials holding the supervisory position with Administrative, Technical, Financial and Management Knowledge related to the municipal service disciplines to enable them to meet the growing demands of the public more effectively.
