Training

Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES) of All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG), Mumbai organizes a Regional Specialized Training Programme on several topics relevant to the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) supported by Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India (GoI). The key objective of these training programmes are to enable the urban local bodies towards achieving the ambitious targets set by the mission.


  1. Solid Waste Management
    • Key Objective: To discuss context specific issues and work plans for achieving solid waste management targets under the mission.
  2. Moving Towards ODF ++ Cities
    • Key Objective: TTo discuss various actions at city level for moving towards ODF++ cities by addressing entire sanitation value chain.
  3. Faecal Sludge and Septage Management
    • Key Objective: TTo discuss various actions at city level for addressing entire sanitation value chain including safe and complete faecal sludge management to ensure the sanitation sustainability and achieve ODF++.
